Four city tours are proposed (free of charge) on Wednesday evening.
Departure is either at 5:00 pm from the Occidental Hotel (after the last presentation), or at 5:45 / 6:00 pm directly to the meeting point in the city center, which is specified on the description below.
The number of participants per group is limited to 30. If you registered for the conference, you would receive a message to choose the tour you are interested in. “First arrived, first served!”
T1 - The House Signs of the Lesser Town
The 246 house signs that have been preserved in Prague tell the story of 400 years in the life of the city and its inhabitants.
Hear the stories of the two suns, three fiddles and a blue eagle. Fifteen Lesser Town house signs will take you back to the lives of the master craftsmen who made instruments for the musicians of the Loreto church, to the three kings who became three musketeers, and you will learn how many buildings in the Lesser Town bear the symbol of an eagle, a lion or a rose.

T2 - Old Town & Jewish Quarter
A walk through the historical heart of Prague and the mysterious Jewish Quarter.
Prague’s imaginary heart is the Old Town, and at its heart lies Old Town Square with the Cathedral of Our Lady before Týn and the Old Town Hall with the Astronomical Clock – the smart watch of its day. From here it is only a short walk to the Jewish Town, which is probably the most mysterious part of Prague. Here you’ll learn more about the Golem and the turbulent history of the Jewish community and its inhabitants.
Tour route: Old Town Square – Ungelt – Dušní St. – Vězeňská (Spanish Synagogue) – Pařížská – exteriors of the Jewish Town (Old-New Synagogue, Pinkas Synagogue, Maisel Synagogue) – Široká St. – Palach Square (Rudolfinum) – view of Prague Castle from the Mánes Bridge

T3 - First time in Prague
Is this your first time in Prague? Or do you often swing by but have never yet had the opportunity to take a breather and properly explore the place?
Then this is the walk for you. Join us on a leisurely 1.2km guided tour and immerse yourself in the romantic charm of the winding streets so typical of this mother of cities. Together we will discover the spots that have borne witness to Czech and world history. We will stroll through the Old Town Square with its iconic astronomical clock and apostles, before venturing into the enigmatic Jewish Quarter and emerging at the famed Charles Bridge overlooking the picturesque Lesser Town.

T4 - The Royal Route on Foot and by boat
We will set out from the heart of Prague and follow the route once taken by the future rulers of the Czech Lands to their coronation.
At Charles Bridge, we will rest our feet and board a romantic riverboat with views of Prague Castle and the Lesser Town. Our voyage will take us to the picturesque canals of Prague’s Čertovka, where we will be greeted by the clatter of the still-functioning mill wheel. The boat trip is included in the price of the tour.
